Phishing attacks use email, social media or malicious links to collect personal and financial information or infect your machine with malware and viruses. "Phishermen" often impersonate organizations and individuals such as banks, credit card companies and foreign royalty and request information, such as account credentials, often promising a reward or urging confirmation of an account.
