I always get an error message when I try to use the Internet time syncrnizer. I have tried the windows one, and the various NIST ones.

Click the time display in the system tray, click Change date and time settings > Internet Time Tab > Change Settings and replace the name in the Server box with Europe.pool.ntp.org

To change the interval between time checks, go to Windows Orb (Start) > Run, type regedit, press Enter and navigate to registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\W32Time\TimeProviders\NtpClient and double-click SpecialPollInterval in the right pane. The default setting is decimal 604800 (1 week in seconds), change it accordingly. Don’t forget to click the "˜decimal’ radio button.
