I frequently play games on the computer, mainly on the Pogo site. They have upgraded a number of games and I am fully aware that they involve a great number of graphics..

The problem is that I am having FREQUENTLY to go back to Temperary Internet Files to clear...within a moment they stack up again and can cause freezes..

In addition, have noticed that together with, datewise, current Temps, old ones appear!

Have always been careful to clear Temps & Cookies daily..but this is distracting and very annoying.

Is there anything that can be done without changing browsers??

    Thank you

    What browser and version?

If a recent release of IE, then try tools~internet options and click on the settings button for your TIF. Cnange it to allow a maximum of 10Mb or something and see if that helps.

Pogo uses a Java VM machine to run the games.
Do you happen to know if you are using the Microsoft Java Virtual Machine, or the Sun Java Virtual Machine? Internet Options, click on Advanced, scroll down, either the Sun is selected, or the MS, you may have only one listed.
If only the Sun, maybe an update?
The Sun has a Control Panel icon, named Java Plug In. You can check for an update with it, the latest is 1.4.2_03 .
