I just recently got my computer all cleaned up from spyware and adware and the like. Ever since I started the process of cleaning it all up I have not been able to log into my e-mail account on the web. I have tried on other computers and have had no problems but with this computer I put in my username and password and then I get sent to a page that says "you must be logged in to access this account" and then there is a link to click on to get to the username and password entry page. I just keep going in this circle no matter what I do.

Is there some setting on my computer that I might have messed up in my cleaning. All other websites where I have to log on to an account with are just fine (i.e. here I am posting on this site). It is just my internet providers web access to e-mail.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Kirsten

Sounds like a repair of IE is in order. I checked another thread to find your OS version so XP SP1 (the dang repair instructions are OS specific).

    Good Microsoft how-to article Here.
