I have just installed SBS 2003 Premium and am stumped as to how to answer the internete wizards questions.

    I have:
    Comcast for my ISP
    Motarola Cable Modem, connected to
    Linksys Router, connected to
Smoothwall Firewall with DHCP with two NICs, connected to
    Switch

I have only 5 users on the network.

    Here are my PC specs:
    1.4 GHz Pentium 4
    640 Meg RDRAM
    1-20 Meg HD
    2-80 Meg HD
    1 NIC
    CDRW

My web site is hosted off site. I think my problem is this: I think all the questions that the wizard is asking me is for setting up a local web server which I don't think that I need to have (which is another question).

My intent is to use Outlook Web Access (and I think via MS Exchange) so that we can access our e-mail from the internet when we are away from our office (which happens a lot).

    Questions like:

"name of your domain" Well, is that my off-site web site or the one that was created by using the company name that I entered at setup and that has the "local." before it?

"DNS" is that the ones Comcast gave me, or again some local one?

Also, do I have to get an additional IP address from Comcast for use with a web server that I set up inside SBS? Or do I just use the IP that my router is using (that Comcast assigned me when I got my internet connection) and then forward the ports: 25-for Outlook Web Access, 443 and 4125-for Remote Web Workplace (which were the only services I selected in the internet wizard).

Hope I have included enough info for you all.

Hi mistux. Small Business Server isn't a setup I'm familiar with and I don't want to give you 'guesses'. I know the thing has some quirks.

Hang in there for a while if you can since we do have some folks with quite a bit of SBS background but it looks like none have been on the forum since last week.
