a friend of mine is still using win 98 and each time she clicks on internet explorer icon she gets a message about viewing saved work offline or something and if she wants to connect to click on try again?
is there a setting im missing or is it to do with a software thing in her startup relating to intel anypoint?

    dunno... any ideas :)

It could be that Internet Explorer or Outlook Express is set to Work Offline mode. One will affect the other.
Perhaps this friend composes email in Work Offline, then tries to surf with IE, and gets this message.
