Internet Issues

Hey everyone,

I need you helo again Whenever I attempt to read a news site or even come to this site, it will show be blank pages. The sidebars of the pages will show up but not the words to the story or even any graphics! Its the webpage's problem because it works on my other computer, what do u think it is? What should I be doing to fix this problem? Also, my start bar in Windows XP no longer says 'start' its just blank with a green background, ive run virus and spyware checks and its clean

When did the start button change? At the same time as the internet problem? Why do you think the two problems are related? Can you use System Restore to go back to before the problems?

The start button went missing the same time as the internet issues. I can't view certain webpages like those of news sites and online email inboxes. Do i need to install some kind of new update or run a different type of computer check?

When i say that I can't view webpages, I mean that the main gist of the page doesn't show, just the sidebar and top bar but not the inbox or the frame containing the news.
