Internet Help plz! can browse.....

I have a rather curious problem with my internet. I have
SBC DSL internet connections. I switched this program
from one computer to a better computer and the program
works. I can connect to the internet, browse the net, and
download files from Kazaa. The program, however, will not
allow me to login to instant messaging services such as
AOL Instant Messenger or MSN Messenger or even one called
Odigo. This also wont allow me to play any games on the
internet. All the games I have tried give me the same
message: You are not connected to the internet... This
problem continued even after I re-installed Windows, the
DSL software and all the programs I tried to play on-
line. I even went and updated my Internet Explorer to 128
bit cipher. I cannot think of anything else to do. I
would appreciate any help anyyone can give me. Please

My first guess... sounds like a firewall not allowing access to required ports. - (OR)- I don't use IE, but possible you have your "site security" set to high.

 

What is this "program "?
