Internet help in XP

    hello,

    i hope this is the right section.

    Im having trouble with my internet. My daughter can connect to the wireless with her laptop but my desktop (the main computer which the modem is connected) will not connect. It comes up as "firewalled" when i turn of the windows fire wall, it says its connected but i get "connection interrupted" in both mozilla and IE and cannot access my email either.

    I rang my service provider and they say its something wrong with my computer.

    Any suggestions?:confused:

    Try booting in safe mode with networking and see if you can browse the Internet at that point.
