I'd like to know why I can surf with Firefox 3.5.1 and in a scan after the fact, come out clean of tracking cookies, whereas when I do the same with IE8 I always end up with several spyware cookies being found. Is there something inherently wrong with IE8 or is there an add-on that I need in order to make is as secure as FF? Thanks.

Internet Options will have an area for cookie settings. Override automatic cookie handling and the Advanced section should have an option to block 3rd party cookies.

Thank you, both. It was too late last night to try this setting but I definitely have made changes and will see how things work out today.
