    Hello,

I am currently running Windows 98SE and Internet Explorer 6. I just installed Windows Protect to keep someone on my computer from deleting Temp Internet Files from Windows Explorer. But I just found out that Temp Internet Files can still be deleted under "Tools" "Delete Files ". Is there any way you can deny access to Tools so this person, who I dont mind using explorer, I just dont want this person deleting the Temp Internet Files, from going to "Tools" and deleting the Temp Internet Files.

    Thanks!!
    David

No way I know to do it on a 9X/ME system. 2K and XP are easy but 98 basically does not allow any real security.

Why do you object to having TIFs deleted?

If it's your PC and you don't want TIFs deleted, why let the other person continue to use the PC if you've asked them not to and they persist?
