Do you have more that one account setup in Outlook Express?
If so when you click on the send mail link it will bring up your default account. If you don't want your hotmail account to be your default, open OE and go to the tools menu, accounts and click on the mail tab. Choose the account you want to set as default and click the make default button.

I'm confused with the above statement. What do you actually mean? Under tools, accounts, mail, server, do you have "remember password" checked?

I guess I misunderstood your question. Are you saying that everything is working correctly, but at the end of your email address there is a / and you don't want that?
If so I don't believe there is a way to get rid of that unless when you entered your account information into OE you typed the /
Otherwise I think this is a default setting.

Sunny...It actually has a /start after the e-mail address I am trying to send an e-mail too..It wouldn't be too bad if it was just a / BUT it actually says start also. I have tried several different links and it does all the same. Thanks Tony
