Internet Explorer Displays History after deletion

Hi all!

After surfing the internet one day I decided to clear my history for all the sites I'd visited. I have the settings in my internet explorer to keep my history for 0 (zero) days. After clearing history (by pushing the button in the settings) and deleting cookies and deleting files I went into the address bar and typed a site and it showed me the same URL for the history i had deleted (kinda like the autocomplete). WHY! i dont it to show up i want that URL to be gone from my history! Why does it still show up? how can i get rid of it!
