internet explorer ads

Can anyone tell me how to stop these unwanted ads from popping on my desktop when i use internet explorer.

 

Go here and see if any of the pop-up stoppers offered will float your boat.

I think Webattack is having a little trouble with the website but it should be okay soon.

You may like to try either of these Free browsers , which have a built in pop up stopper . ( don't add , About Blank , to your filter list )
Use very little resources ( No Add's ) & are as good as any other browser .
Intergrate quitely into your system , do not take over . You can still run your normal browser ,
if you wish .

This is how I have Script Sentry configured .
It can be done during Install or by going to ,
Windows Explorer > Programs > Script Sentry .
Double click on the 4th Entry , ScriptSentry , which is the .exe file .
This opens it up , select , File > Configure .
General : Tick the 1st 4 items .
File Associations : Tick all .
Scripting Permissions : Tick all .
Click OK .
