For some reason recently when opening Favorites, the menus and items all open to the left. The menu used to open directly below "Favorites" and the items would open to the right. What have I done?

Hi oldtimer. :) Do you have any favorites saved that have a very long name? If you do then try shortening the name of them and see if there is any change. Also delete all your Temporary Internet Files as well. Open Internet Explorer and click Tools< Delete Browsing History< Delete All. Restart Internet Explorer. Do the favorites open properly now? If not then try this. Shut down all backround programs that are running in the system tray in the taskbar to avoid any conflicts with your installed software and Internet Explorer. Now click Start< All Programs< Accessories< System Tools< Internet Explorer (No-Addons). See if the favorites display properly now. If they do then its a third party add-on thats causing the problem.

You haven't done anything... This is the new way in IE7 & IE8 that favorites are accessed.

Thanks for the replies, tried all prior to asking with no results. Arie's may be right, it just happened suddenly recently - perhaps after a Vista update. Whats interesting is that my laptop which has Vista Home and IE7 is still the old way. This PC has ultimate. Thanks guys!

Your Welcome oldtimer. Glad you figured out why the favorites didn't display correctly.
