Resolved Internet Explorer 7: accept javascript and cookies

    I would like to know if anybody can please tell me exactly how to change my internet browser settings so I can accept javascript and cookies because when I try to go to a website I keep getting this message

    The browser you're using is not allowing you to sign in to Excite.

    Right now, your browser's settings are configured to disable cookies and/or javascript. In order to access your account, you must change your browser's settings to accept both cookies AND javascript.

    I am using windows XP and my internet browser is internet explorer 7 and I would like to know exactly how to do this step by step instructions?

    erichcs - Welcome to the Board :)

    Cookies .....

    In IE 7 - Tools > Internet Options > Privacy and set the slider to a level you feel comfortable with. I set at Medium High

    Javascript ....

    Probably the most straightforward method is to add the URL for Excite sign in to the Trusted Zone - Tools > Internet Options > Security > Click onTrusted Sites then Sites and add the URL. Uncheck the 'Require Server verification .....' box
