I am using windows 2000 have all the updates downloaded and use virus protector plus firewall.
I have been trying to go into the internet explorer and everytime it opens a pop up shows asking for a network password and than I can`t do anything . There are several people on this computer but this only happens to two of us. Is this a virus spyware or something else and is there anything I can do to correct it.
I do thank you for any help you can give me to this problem

Sounds like either someone added some type of secutiry to keep you off the internet or the Home Page is set to go to a site that requires a passowrd.

Can you click cancel to the login and then go to Tools->Options and see what the home page says?
