Internet Cookies

Hi I have four cookies deposited in the temporary internet folder in my local settings and they will not delete in the usual manner.I am running xp home and the internet shortcuts were left in the folder even after using all my utilities to remove them.Anyone any suggestions please.

If the cookies are data miners or referrers, you may want to run Spybot or AdAware to clean them out. I use AdSubtractPro on this comp, and one of the features I like is the cookie and temp file cleanup (better than XP's) For a quick fix, I think you can try it for free.

Many thanks for your suggestions,I finally removed the offending items by using internet options and deleting cookies as well as all offline web pages so my problem is now resolved thanks again-pcfanatic.
