    Hi,
I use Internet connection sharing. My 1meg cable modem connects to my pc, which has a second NIC connected to a hub. The hub then shares the connection to my flat mates PC in the other room. Recently he constantly likes to download music using Limewire etc when I am trying to play Quake3 etc. Is there a way that I can divide the available bandwidth - so that I use say 70% and only 30% is available for his computer and therfore his file sharing programs?
    Thanks in advance.

Check the options of the LImewire program. A while back I tried it for a short while and there was an option where you could choose the amount of bandwidth it used. Don't know if this is still the case but it's a place to start.

Thanks Zand, I had thought of that, but it would be the Limewire on my friends machine and he would not want me to do that (I could do it on the sly, but that would be a bit devious) Is there a way to control bandwidth allocation from my PC.
