Internet add-on installer

    how do I remove this message when I sign. I click continue but nothing happens. Nothins is installed. Message goes away.

    Sign on to AOL. this is when the window appears it says "windows internet explorer add-on installer" click continue. When I do the window closes and nothing is installed. I have downloaded IE 8. When I downloaded Regcure, it wants $ 30.00 to sign up. This is not a free download. I already have a registry cleaner. Error fix and anti malware.

    I must advise you to steer well clear of that particular piece of software. Cleaning the registry should be avoided except in special circumstances - likely to do more harm than good with zero performance benefit.

    Regseeker - freeware, if you must, but always back up the registry first and any changes the software recommends.

    There a few hits on google re 'windows internet explorer add-on installer' - all appear to relate to AOL & none with any responses. No idea if it is malware, but worth checking with Malwarebytes - update before running.

    Could always seek support from AOL.
