I have an 800 mhz comp I picked up. It has a 4 in 1 usb card reader (no brand name visible) with a little 5 pin plug with 4 wires attached (1 blank, red, white, green, black) hanging loose inside. Do you know where this would plug in? There's a firewire card with a 4 prong plug spot internally. Or does this plug to USB somehow? Thanks.

To a USB header on the motherboard - if there is one.

Best bet is to have a look at the mobo manual for the presence/location of the header. As you probably don't have a manual you can identify the mobo using Everest and then download a manual from the manufacturer's web site.

Leave the firewire card well alone - the card reader is not firewire :)
