Intermittent Bad Logon

    Part of the time when my system boots up I get no access to anything - i.e. I do not have any permissions.
    A logoff and logon sequence cures the problem but it sure is a nuisance to have to do that.

    Required a drastic fix

    No amount of research or fiddling could fix this so I logged in in safe mode and created a new account with administrator rights which then required rebuilding all the personalized items like saved passwords, cookies, favorites,etc,etc.

    Problem has not recurred

    Seems to have fixed it permanently.
