Intellicast popup in NS 7.01

    NS 7.01 win98se (I have XP and Firefox on dual boot too). Anyways, I hvae block all popups on.

    I go to in http://www.intellicast.com and click on ohh say the hurricane tracking and BAMM.. SpecificMEDIA, Inc from adopt.specificclick.net comes up. I have no cookies from intellicast or this media **** yet I can't go to intellicast with out it popping up.

    SOmeone wanna try and see? or what gives?

    Same thing with my NS 7.02 on WinXP. I'm also curious about how they manage that.

    I tried first Firefox1.04, and it told me that it blocked a popup attempt. I, then, tried NS7.2, and, I saw a box, fleetingly, indicating that the popup blocker was working. I thought that I was going to get an enlarged radar map, but clicking on the picture brings up a sales pitch for portable beds. But, scrolling down one gets impressive radar shots.
    I am not sure how they do it, but this has happened for long time. Firefox will give greater protection, because it incorporates the cookies controls of Spyware Blaster.
