Intel Pro/Wireless Lan 2100 XP SP3

    I have a set of older b Intel Pro/Wireless Lan 2100 cards that work just fine
    However with some updates to XP SP3 I seem to have issues
    Any ideas or newer drivers than on the intel site

    The Intel site will have the newest drivers for those adapters. To get it functioning properly I would try:

    disable any Intel connection utilities and let Windows manage the connection OR use the Intel software to manage the connection. See which works best.

    What issues specifically?

    Those cards were originally indened to use only WEP & WPA. The newer drivers added support for WPA2. I never had any issues with the 2100's with XP SP3.

    Definitely "let Windows manage the connection" and disable any Intel connection software.

    When I install the Intel drivers I just extract them and manually browse to update the driver via Device Manager. I never run the Intell install pgm for their network adapters because they usually install unneeded stuff.

    And uninstall QoS Packet Scheduler as well via Adapter properties.
