Can anyone tell me the differences between Centrino 2 Duo and Core 2 Duo? I want to buy a notebook, which series of CPU should I choose?

    Sure...

Centrino 2 is not stricktly a "processor ", but rather a platform. The term "Centrino" covers a particular combination of motherboard chipset, mobile CPU and wireless network interface in the design of a laptop.

    See Intel's Web site.

A Centrino based system has usually a better battery life and WiFi performance then a non Centrino based system.
