Hi all. Is it possible for me to integrate Windows Vista SP1 into my Windows Vista Ultimate DVD? I know you can do this with Windows XP but can it be done with Vista? Thanks! :)

Can’t be done I’m afraid, you have to download the entire integrated Vista DVD from Microsoft, but you need to have a Technet plus subscription or similar to get it. Or you can wait until the retail DVDs comes out and buy one. MS say slipstreaming will be possible with SP2.

I did see some links to using vlite to get the updates installed during the install of Vista, but this is hardly the same thing and not something I have explored.

Thanks for the reply and info. :) I guess I will forget about it and maybe order a Windows Vista DVD with SP1 integrated from Microsoft. Thanks again McTavish! ;)
