Insufficient system exists for api Error message

    I was installing windows xp and my computer was shut off.. I restarted it and it takes me to windows setup is restarting, but then it says insufficient system exists for api and my computer keeps restarting..

    Boot from the CD and force it to do a completely new install. Delete the partition that contains the blown install attempt then create and format a new one.

    About 99% of the time the above will work. If not, post back and we'll give you an easy how-to for REALLY starting over.

    re insufficient system exist to complete api

    I put my windows xp disk in and it asked me if i wanted to boot from cd press any key which i did.. then it acted like windows is starting up and then it tells me windows install is restarting and then i get the same error.
