I have a Gateway GT5438 desktop running Vista on the original SATA HD.
I have added another SATA HD. Installed windowsXP.

The only option I had at that point was to boot to XP.
Installed VistaBootPro and now I can only boot to Vista.
When trying to boot to the xp drive I get an error. "netdlr missing "

Can I just repair the XP drive using the xp disk or will I be stuck on XP
    all over again?

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you for your time,

    Milton

When you set up a dual boot you need to install the oldest OS first. Since you have installed XP after Vista, XP doesn't know what OS Vista is and cannot set up a dual boot.

Go to Help and Support and search for "Install more than one operating system (multiboot)" You can try those instructions, I'm not sure if the install will reformat the XP drive or do a reinstall over it.

    I would uninstall VistaBootPro first.

Something else I expect might to work is to run a Startup Repair of Vista.

If you don't want to follow those paths you should ask for technical support from the makers of VistaBootPro.

    Thanks for the reply.

I will uninstall vistabootpro on Monday.
    Re-install Vista and report back.

    Thank you for your time,

    Milton
