Installing WSUS Server

    Hi, I'm planning on installing a WSUS server so that i can apply the updates better than manually.
    I have an old Windows 2000 Server that i'm going to convert over to the WSUS server.
    I need to know if I can use the 2000 server (has the necessary req) if i need to download Windows XP, Office updates,etc. it won't cause me trouble if I'm downloading the updates on a old Server OS

    I don't know about the system requirements of older WSUS servers, but the current 3.0 SP1 doesn't install on Win2K: System Requirements

    can i still use the 2.0 version that will work with Wk2 Server.???
    why would i want to run 3.0 on a 2003 server

    Sorry, I have no experience running Win2K server, but a simple web search showed
