Hi I need your help guys....
is there any difference between deploying Win 2003 into a regular server PC than deploying it on A Rack Server HP type...

please help me to know it because I have a rack server and I want to format it but the problem is that I'm afraid it will never bootup again :):)

It's just a PC in a different package.

It's possible it has a RAID controller though. So if you format you will need the RAID driver at F6

To be honest, considering the level of questions you are asking, I would strongly advise you to consider doing some training before you start wiping existing systems and installing 2003. You could start here:

    http://www.microsoft.com/learning/syllabi/en-us/4360afinal.mspx

And follow up with this sort of course:

    http://www.microsoft.com/learning/syllabi/en-us/2274cfinal.mspx

I'd recommend you contact a local computer training company. There are plenty around. I am confident that they would be able to supply training based around the courses above for a reasonable cost. Such training would be an invaluable step in getting you up to speed on Win 2003.

Before you shut it down take a peek in Device manager and see whats in there. That may give you a hint at what driver issues you may have.

The trick about RAID controllers is Windows won't see them on the CD boot so it won't have a place to install.
Shortly after you boot from the CD the screen will say "Press F6 to add additional drivers" then you will be prompted for the media the driver is on.

Another hint to find out if that box has RAID is looks for a secondary POST screen in bootup mentioneg some type of RAID controller.
