I have just received Aardwark 4 Port USB3.0 PCIe card, however there are no installation instructions included with package other than a 3" disc. I have never encountered a 3" disc to date, my question can this 3 "disc be used in a standard CD/DVD drive as fitted in my computer. Help is most appreciated.

Be brave - Be bold - be adventurous - pop in the cd and see what happens;)

When you open your cd tray - you should see that it fits perfectly in the little 3" round section.

Steve R Jones, my thanks for your prompt reply. Indeed as you said, the 3" disc fitted neatly in the CD/DVD drawer. Apparently in this case, the USB3.0 card requires to be installed prior to running 3" CD. I am a little disappointed that the card manufacturer have failed to include instructions pamphlet. Most likely the card manufacturer, believe all buyers of their card are professionals.

    I too P C sufferer.

Did you look on the cd for instructions? Maybe they are "thinking green" like everyone else is.

There are no instructions within the 3" CD, other than the driver. At present manufacturers will cut corners to save costs. USB3.0 card is now installed and appears to be working properly, well at the moment. I find that there is a slight imorovement in assessing the hard drives. I find that the Video card I installed last week, actually covers one of the short card slot, now making no spare slot for any future card.

After a period usage, USB3.0. a significant increased speed accessing the USB connected Hard Drives are noticed. Certainly now feel the worth of buying the card and installing has been rewarded.
