I have a problem with Windows XP Pro installation...
It seems that my Windos XP Home Edition (with service pack 2) is "more recent" than my Windows XP Pro Edition.

At first I tought it was because Windows XP Pro i got is a 2000 version (and it may be I just havent found anything to make sure (other than just wiping out my home and installing the pro). I just now my disc includes a 2002 version of Service Pack 1) and that the copy right expires on 2001... so Its a very good chance its a 2000 version of Pro (and then that would explain why it doesnt let me do the fast upgrade).

Anyway, I dont think so. When I download the Windows System Advisor (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/upgrading/checkcompat.mspx) It says my version of Home is more recent than Windows XP Pro (***?!?!!?!) Is it because of the Service Pack 2? Should I uninstall it and then try again?

That's usually the case with XP. If SP2 is installed and the disk has a previous service pack level or none you will get that error.
