    Hi all!

I´m in the process of installing Windows XP Pro and have come to the final step of installing the Norton stuff.

I started with Norton System Works and it went well.

Next I tried to install Norton Internet Security and the installation completed.
When rebooting I get a blue screen and this errormessage:

    *** STOP: 0X0000008E (0XC0000005, 0XF9F4A51D, 0XF9E48D20, 0X00000000)

I restored using a Ghost Image which was made immediately before ...... :) ...... trying to install the Norton stuff.

    The second attempt failed too.

Anyone who has an idea of what´s going wrong?

    Thanks for Your time,
    Christer

(While I wait for a response I´ll try to install in the reversed order, NIS first, then NSW.)

Reversed install order produced the same result with less work!

    More information:

Trying to start to the last good configuration, I get a NAV internal error message and my mouse (Logitec Cordless) doesn´t work.

Seems like I´m going back with Zone Alarm Free!?

    Hi again!

I´ve been using Ghost a lot this afternoon, more than ever before.
I had an Image with Windows XP and Office XP only. I restored to that state and installed my applications one by one in combination with NIS until I found the culprit.

Nero InCD v.4010 is the cause of my problem. InCD v.35240 works fine.
