    Hi
having formatted my computer once again because my audigy sound card creative web cam and my network card refuse to work at the same time with windows xp, i decided to install my favourite games red faction and medal of honour. the games install but when i try to run them the screen flashes on and off and the sound is intermittant. Under previous reincarnations of formatting both games worked. Anyone any ideas. I have a hercules kyro 11 chip soundcard and 512 mb ram. Im thinking of finally giving up with xp and going back to win 98 se!!

there are allot of games that are not compatible with xp and 2k that are for 98.

best thing to do would be to check with the company that made the game and see if it will work on xp.

Have you tried to run the exe in compatibility mode? Right click the games exe, select properties then the compatibility tab & checkmark "run in compatibility made "
