    Hello,
My machine is running WinXP SP1.
Yesterday I installed the arabic fonts (Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options -> Languages -> Install files for complex ...), restarted, and yep they worked, so far so good, but later I noticed like normal system messages appear in bold and ugly font, when I list some file the chars are smaller and in a font I don't like, other system messages take two times the space they used to.
I uninstalled them and rebooted, but nah, that didnt fix the problem. Just the sys messages arent in bold, but they still take up lots of space and system fonts are wack...
I hope you guys can help. I don't really want to upgrade to SP2 currently. I appreciate any help!

Almost sounds like you installed the arabic language files?

"Fonts" are normally installed via the Control Panel->Fonts icon.

Should be able to make changes in the Display properties->Apperance tab->Advanced button
