[Installed Program - Express Shipper - stopped working]

I installed a program and it was working for the past 3 weeks. All of a sudden the prgram stops working. I go to uninstall and reinstall the program,but its not on the list. The program has been made for windows so it should be there. I noticed the program files were installed in Program File(86) folder so I tried moving the files to Program files. Still no fix. I checked the registry,but have found not trace of the file. I cleaned the registry with CCleaner and deleted the program files. I tried reinstalling ,but the installer wont run because it says the program is already installed.

Any suggestions?

Whats the name of the program ?

There is no folder named Program File(86) in Windows 32 bit. Even in 64 bit its Program File(x86). Moving files from one directory to another is guaranteed to stop the program from working.

When you have manually deleted the files, the uninstalled would also have been deleted. You can install it & then uninstall it to see if it works.

Seems to be a custom made software. It would be better if you contact the developer directly as it may contain some time limitation & piracy protection scheme.

 

I m awaiting a response from the developer,but I believe its more of a Windows 7 Issue. I will just keep at it.

 

I have been using Win7 for last 1 year & have not yet come across any such an issue.
