Every site I go to that requires flash now says that I need flash 10.1 or better. I guess 10.2 isn't better. The sites offer an adobe icon to click on to download the newest flash but when I try to I am told that I already have it installed.

    Suggestions?

Oh, this is xp home sp3 fully updated using firefox browser at the moment.
    Firefox 3.6.13

I went to the adobe site where I found a help guide checklist to follow. I found out that I had the flash plugin disabled. How I don't know, but after enabling it everything works.

    Sorry for the unneeded post.

    DugE ...

An easy way to keep track of things like that is to use the PrefBar extension. It's got many more features than I have need for, and it doesn't need to be shown as a toolbar. I've just selected the features I use from time to time ... see the screenshot.
