Installation Error Message

    I have looked everywhere for an answer to this particular problem, but no one has exactly what i have.

    When i try to open my 'microsoft Office Standard Edition 2003' software i get this error message "a required installation file YI561403.CAB could not be found "

    "Original installation source required ", then i can go onto select the cd drive with the software, then i click ok. it briefly shows a little loading screen saying that windows is configuring outlook, which it then continually bounces back to the same error msg.

    Can someone help please

    When you check the CD, can you find the YI561403.CAB file?

    Was the Office Standard Edition 2003 pre-installed on your system, or did you upgrade an other version that was installed on your system?
