Install W98se on top of W95 ?

    If you have the upgrade disk, just pop it in and away you go. Just follow any prompts that come up. Make sure you back up any important info first, just in case.

    Unless there is info on your drives that you don't want to lose, a clean install would be better. You will lose everything if you go this route though. You can even do this with the upgrade disk if you have your 95 disk.

    One thing to make VERY SURE of during the install no matter how you boo the machine..

    Watch the various screens as they come up and make sure that the 98 install goes into the EXISTING Windows folder.

    Very often if you have booted from the Harddrive it will try to go into a new folder. Usually Windows000.

    You sure do not want that.
