Install MS Office onto a pen drive?

    I'm not sure why you would want to do that.

    If you're hope is to be able to take the "pen drive" from computer to computer and be able to use Office where ever you have the "pen drive', you won't be able to do that.

    I think you might be able to get the files to install by specifying the drive letter of the "pen drive" when you install.
    However, once installed, you would not be able to run it unless the "pen drive" is plugged in, and you would not be able to plug that drive into another PC and have it run because it will not be "installed" to the system.

    Assuming it will let you install the files to that type of media, you would have to perform the same installation on each box on which you would want to run Office, and I believe that could be a technical violation of the user license if you exceed the license limit, even if you're not using it on more than one PC at a time.
