    Hi everyone,

I have a program I want to install on my terminal server, but the program is located on another server in the domain. I know I have to use add/remove programs ( or change user from cmd) while the terminal services are running but when I try to do this, add/remove programs says there are no programs on the network and no visable way to browse to the exe. Is there some way to get my program to display in the found programs over the network box so I can load it on my terminal server

    Thanks

If UNC doesn't work, have you tried mapping a drive?

There is no place to type a UNC and I have made mappings but they dont seem to make a difference to the add/remove program applet. As soon as you click the add programs button it says that it is searching the network and then reports that I have no programs available to install. How is it determining this. There has to be a way to modify the criteria it uses to find these programs to display it the available programs box

I decided to use the "Install from Floppy or CD" and found that if windows can't detect either, it gives you a browse option and I was able to get the exe file from the other server that way.

    Thanks
