I'd like to install 98se twice on the same hdd... on C and on D... and dual boot it.

    Is that possible?

If so, how would I go about it?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi Roxe and welcome !
Yes, it can be done but I cannot understand why you want
to do this. Please let us know.
Apart from buying/installing a multi-boot program eg Wincommander, your will need a lot of extra space on the HDD
and apps that work if you boot to C: will not necessarily work if you boot to D: - you will need to reinstall them to the appropriate, running Windows OS.
If you are wanting to increase the security of your PC,
a copy / restore capability of a stable Windows folder is much less
    trouble.
If you are wanting to share your PC usage, it is simpler to set-up
different users and passwords, with yourself as administrator.
    regards

    Thanks, Merlin. :)

You said... "Yes, it can be done but I cannot understand why you want to do this. Please let us know. "

Well, I'm a curious person, and lots of time I like to try stuff with my computer just to see if I can. I've found lots of ideas to try here and at the RAD BBS. Plus I've found the OSL2000 boot manager that looks like it could be what I need for dual booting.

And... I'm not ready to give up my W98se just yet. There are still things I find in that OS that I have no idea what they do. Having a good Ghost image that works really takes the scariness away from experimenting ;)

And... it doesn't hurt to have a 3rd hdd to play around with either :D
