Whenever I try to insert an image into an email message the pop up screen defaults to "Alternate Text ". I would like the default to be "Don't use alternate text ". Is there anyway to do this? I am using Netscape 7.1.

Also, I just noticed that v7.2 is out; is the upgrade from 7.1 to 7.2 a significant improvement?

    try empty alt text.

OR use attachement, so you don't need to fill out the alt text.

If by "empty alt text" you mean omiting any text and using the default case, the program will not allow the text field to be left blank. Maybe I don't understand what you mean by "empty alt text ". Please advise.

You have two choices. The exact terms are Alternate text Default) or Don't use alternate text

    Welcome to the Forum, Rong103!

    rong103,

As far as I know you can't. I've looked through all the *.js files, and don't see anything there that can be changed. I have an idea you would have to hack one of the *.jar files, but I haven't a clue as to which one.
