Setting up NEW Toshiba Laptop running Win Vista Home Premium. My brother is preparing to power up his new laptop for the first time. I have a Toshiba laptop running Win XP SP2. Upon my initial setup I have it such that I do NOT have to log on with a password....it boots straight to the desktop. I am the sole user of this machine so I have no problem with this.

My brother would like to set up his laptop (Win Vista Home Premium) the same way, where it boots straight to the desktop without prompting for a user password.
Since I haven't used a Vista OS, would the initial setup with no password be the same as with Win XP SP2. When you get to the part where it asked for a user name and password, do you type in a user name but leave the password field blank?
