I got a weird one here.

Ok, I have had no problems with this till I live updated last week. Ever since then I have not been able to connect to my main e-mail account on incredimail. I also have the same problem in outlook express. Which I tried out to see if it was a software issue.

Ok, I can connect to my MSN account and Hotmail through Incredimail. But when it comes to my main road runner e-mail account for some reason it won't connect.

I reset the rules in personal firewall. All are added but I still can't connect. I even turned off Internet Security for a couple of minutes to make sure that it was causing the problem. Soon as I turned it off, I connected to my main e-mail.
I have disabled anti-spam....to see if that was the issue. Removed and reset the rules time and time again but to no avail.

Any help will be greatly appreciated..

I am running Windows XP SP2

I don't have a solution to offer you I'm afraid - at least not one that involves keeping Norton.

If you do some internet searching you will find that Symantec did a really horrible job of making their various products work properly with XP SP2 and they have done an equally horrible job of responding to problems - they basically aren't.

I was a long-time user and major fan of Norton products but at this point I can't recommend them and am starting to suggest that folks who have problems switch to something else. I did that about a year ago and for me, at least, it was a good move.
