I was wondering if there is a way to have thumbnail view show larger views in Windows Explorer. Currently I get six thumbs in a row and I'd love to have fewer of them, but bigger. Is this possible? I've tried using PhotoShop File Browser, IrfanVIew, Acdsee, etc but I still find Explorer the most user-friendly.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions,
    Jo

Easy enough if you are comfortable editing the registry. Great how-to is Here

I tried that but I cannot get it to work.

I added the two DWORD keys to ../explorer but even after reboot there was no change in the thumbnail.

But...I am talking about the thumbnail in the left hand side of the screen of explorer (of windows 98 but it seems to be similar in NT and w2k) rather than the size of thumbs in the right hand file window.

There are thumbnail size controls in the Folder.htt but these only stretch the thumbnail size but do not increase the size of the image.

    Do you have any suggestions?

    Tim

Tim - welcome to the forum and I do have a suggestion.

You need to make a new thread in the 98 section describing your problem in detail. There are enough OS differences that 2K solutions very often either will not work on 98 or even worse, will totally hose the PC.
