    Hi Folks
A friend of mine installed this adware on his system and now wants rid of it. I’m sure it will be easy enough for me to excise it and make Outlook the default client again, but is it possible to export all the emails that were downloaded with Incredimail into Outlook? Anyone had experience of this and so can offer some time saving tips before I look into it?

    Cheers.

Thanks Dennis - I'm going to have a go at this over the weekend. I doubt it will be easy or straight forward, but we'll see.

    Your welcome McTavish.
Best of luck, report back with how things went.

:) Don't forget to create a new Restore Point before uninstall and backup them mail files before you start.

Just to update "“ this is how it worked out - when I finally got round to it.

I used "Incredimail Backup PRO" to extract all the emails out of Incredimail and convert them to .EML files. (IncrediConvert won't work with the latest version of Incredimail) I tried this a few times at home on a test rig and it worked fine, however on site I discovered that the version of Incredimail Backup Pro I had is only a demo and will only extract 50 emails. Luckily there were less than a hundred emails to extract and the program worked twice. However it did not extract sequentially so I had to sort out and delete the first 50 it took before I could run it again.

I could not see a way to import .EML files into Outlook. So I imported them into Outlook Express as per the instructions for doing this, then from inside Outlook I used the option to import from Outlook Express. Job Done.

What with setting up the test machine and installing and figuring it all out, it must have been several hours of my time.
