After working perfectly well, a Windows 98 PC with internet explorer 4.0 & AOL 6 has began rebooting itself when on-line
and an incoming call comes in. No software upgrades or installs were performed before the problem occurred.

    Thanks,
    Tommy

This wouldn't seem to be an Internet Explorer problem, but rather a hardware issue. I am going to move this to the Hardware Forum.

Do you use the call waiting feature for anything on that line?

If not, in your dial out sequence to AOL, add *70 before the telephone number to disable call waiting from kicking in.

If you do use it, you might take a look in the bios setup to be sure you don't have wakeup or anything similar enabled.

Experienced same problem, go Bios setup at start up and in power management setup disable Wake up on R1#
