Inactive [InActive] windows explorer crashed at start up, launching fake one

just got this fixed yesterday. I saw another solution from another guy having the same problem. the solution was:

Insert a flash drive, identify the AUTORUN.INI. I identified by looking at RESTORE. I ran my PC in SAFE MODE and used XPLORER2 to locate the RESTORE folder. I deleted it. now my sis's laptop is saved. though, is this the only answer? I need to confirm it, though

Hi. this is my third topic since my hello one. If you know my problems with my sis, this will be the second one.

I just arrived in my sis's university boarding house from a 5 hour trip and to my surprise that when I opened her Windows Media 2005 XP this came to me:

"Windows was recovered from so and so "
"Windows stopped processing and will save your file so and so "

after that, the screen goes blank except for the wallpaper and then on the upper right screen, there's a pop-up. I tried to screen capture it and to my surprise, it's something "C:/Restore/<insert random numbers> "

this will be the second time it happened since the Recycler thing. I know for sure this is a virus and I suspect it was from the AUTORUN.INI since my sis loves to put her flash drive.

anyhelp in doing this? I'll try my best to download the program you recommend. Im using my own laptop since the victimed laptop is too slow.
