    Hello,

I have a problem that is driving me crazy. Some of my favorite websites are taking forever to load. My PC sits behind a hardware firewall and has current anti spyware and AV software. Of course this does not guarantee that I am not infected with some malware.

Here is what happens. My default home page is Google. I open my browser and Google pops up instantly. I then try to go to a site using "My Favorites ". The browser takes up to 15 seconds for the site to load. In the bottom it says waiting for harvest.adgardener. Is this something that Google uses to keep track of where people go to?

This problem seems to be much worse with Firefox than with IE. I prefer to use Firefox and keep it updated using the auto-update feature.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Chip

    Hi Chip,

Are you using a custom HOSTS file, like the MVPS Hosts file?
